Here is an "alien thing" concept I started last night for fun...I am trying to paint it at the moment, so I will post what is done thus far.

Final Product!
This is the final product for my Zombie Beauty Pageant entry! It took a ton of time, because I am very inexperienced with digital art...so I learned as I went, through trial and error. But I am content with how it turned out, obviously it's hard to ever be truly satisfied with your own work but sometimes you get those feelings that help you realize why you keep doing what you do!
First true entry!
This is a drawing I've done for a sketch group that I am apart of. This sketch group, Draw Sucka Draw, consists of College for Creative Studies' (CCS) students and alumni along with their friends. This particular drawing is the "rough draft" for a competition being held for Halloween, Zombie Beauty Pageant. We must draw zombies based on a particular subject matter or reference. This season's reference was the Black Lotus' staff (the Black Lotus is a coffee house/bar that we usually meet at for the weekly meetings).
I am happy to be able to start posting my drawings on here so that I can share my artwork with others but most of all, so that I can see how much I improve over time. Please leave comments or constructive criticism, it would be much appreciated!
Commencement...
The B-Raz Sketchbook Blog is now live! I, Bobby Rasmusson (a.k.a. B-Raz), will update this sketchbook as frequently as possible. I am a student at the University of Michigan therefore, time is not on my side, as far as homework vs. freedom is concerned. But!!! I plan on updating this blog as much as humanly possible...so be excited!
